Wake me up when September ends

OK, I haven't updated in a while and for that I apologize. Not much has changed. Im still living with my parents, but October 1 we are moving into a townhouse and we love it! It was built in 2005 is a 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath and has an updated kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. It also has a huge jacuzzi tub in the Master. I am so excited to decorate and buy new furniture. It's also in a great location. 7 miles from Indian Rocks Beach, ironically the beach I grew up on. About 15 minutes to downtown St. Petersburg and 20 minutes to downtown Tampa. I couldn't be happier with our decision to give up on buying a place. It's just not the right thing for us right now. Lately, we've been working, cooking, hanging out, and enjoying our time with friends and family. I've still been doing my diet and am proud to say that I have lost 20 pounds! My clothes are falling off of me and Judd insists I need to buy new shorts :) I've really started to get into a routine with my diet and I love to hula hoop. I guess its my therapy. We were going to go up to Tallahassee for the FSU vs. OU game but to save money we decided to go to Ferg's in downtown St. Petersburg. Ferg's is a sports bar and grill and the owner graduated from Florida State! Woohoo!
You all know that we didn't win but we put up a good fight! My brother Dave and his wife Lindsey even met us up there for the first half it was great. I really like downtown St. Pete its fun and has lots of shops and great restaurants. My brother told me about the place they went to for dinner called Z Grille. Apparently they have Dr. Pepper soaked baby back ribs. YUM!
Well Judds birthday is coming up on September 29. He will be 29. This year I went all out. I am buying back his gun from my dad that he sold to him when we were having hard times. (I can say all this because he doesn't know about this blog) I also paid for a night at a suite in Treasure Island and convinced him to take the day off. I think he is going to be sooo surprised.
So far we are just trying to get everything settled for our move. We are trying to pay all the deposits so that the day we move it everything will be in order. We are so looking forward to having our own space where we can do whatever we want. We also have been discussing the possibilities for the upcoming holidays. We would really like to try and get up to Chicago to see our friend, but the thought of snow scares us a little haha true Floridians. Maybe we will go on a cruise for the holiday? At least there won't be snow :)
                                                                    Our New House

                                                                     My new kitchen :)

                                                               My tub (excited about this!)

Living room (we are getting rid of the green color)

Keep in mind this is the owners furniture so it will look much different when we are done putting our finishing touches on it. But this couldn't be any more perfect for the two of us! Judd has even told me we HAVE to have the cable situation done by Saturday so he can have his football. We hope to have a housewarming party within the next couple of months. Live and love, E
